Communicating partnership
11 July, 2012
Ceramicx has long been a believer in the value of business partnerships: Day-to-day our manufacturing and technology plant sees a constant stream of visits and IR sharing between ourselves and our very active international distributor base. In my view there can be no substitute for person-to-person relationships and for full and frank communciations in commerce. This week saw Ceramicx play host to a meeting of the Irish Centre for Manufacturing Research (ICMR). This is a relatively new organisation and represents a much needed way of collaboration. It was our pleasure to be part of ICMR’s launch last year in Dublin where we encouraged the initiative and spoke of the need for a further sharing of skills and resource in order to make Irish manufacturing ever more competitive. The ICMR’s work needs to build still further and to achieve real traction with Ireland’s small to medium sized enterprises. Ceramicx will do all we can to catalyze that effort. Meantime, some excellent examples of successful partnership in action can be witnessed in work that has been nurtured and promoted by Enterprise Ireland (EI). EI’s Innovation Partnership schemes have been gathering plaudits from the international business community. Ceramicx Infrared Heat Consultants are an eager participant in this Innovation Partnership process and thanks to the web and video technology you can get a flavour for the process here:Readers of HeatWorks magazine will be familiar with Ceramicx work under these auspices. Ever one to emulate best practice in all fields Ceramicx have also lately launched into video Please enjoy the video.
