Ceramicx – world class manufacturer

‘To measure is to manage’ as the saying goes. It’s a philosophy that has been applied from the get-go here at Ceramicx. Not only do we spend time and resource applying it to ourselves, for some years now we have participated in a number of industrial benchmarking schemes. All the hard detail is set to follow soon – but we recently received word recently from one of our assessors that Ceramicx has now entered the World Class quadrant in terms of global and industrial assessment. This is great news and no small achievement: Barely 1% of Small to Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) throughout the world reach this standard of effectiveness, and the devil is always in the detail. Our latest accolade is tribute to the painstaking efforts applied by all in our company. I would like to here thank all our team for our success. Attaining this standard of competence and effectiveness requires a constant balancing act; one which continues to be applied at Ceramicx as we enter our 21st year of trading- and it is fitting that the World Class standard has arrived for us in this traditional coming-of-age year. There is now perhaps a temptation to have these figures alter the Ceramicx practice and perspective, however subtly. To use a sporting analogy; the outlook of the champion can differ greatly to that of the challenger. Rest assured, however, Ceramicx will not choke on its success. The best teams – champions or not – continue to focus on first principles; on getting their own game right before going on to succeed in competition. As a World Class player that will shall surely continue to do.
